I would really advise in investigating this concept further! It is pretty cool. Very nice especially for a game jam. Could be a chill game for travelling. Here are some of my thoughts:

- Its pretty cool that you can see what shapes the coins have, that way you have a puzzle aspect

- The modifiers are pretty cool. I want more during a run :D (I used the bomb modifier and It made all my chain reactions way cooler)

- Quick Thinking seems kind of op as it cost nothing and makes your good cards easily accessible

- Please make things rotatable by right click. I was sitting on my couch with my laptop 5m away connected to a tv and this hurt my feelings :D

The coolest thing by far was to make the biggest bomb dragon ladder whatever chain reaction. Maybe you could reward players an extra coin if they find 3 coins  with one bubble, so that they are encouraged to do risky plays.

All in all, very nice game and very well executed. I must be honest, I am 10% mad because I had a vision of a chain reaction deckbuilder but couldnt quite design what I wanted. You did it very well. Cheers.

Epic Review - Thanks!
Bonus coins or other modifiers for good combo-usage would be really fun!
Totally get the "Man why does this exist already" feeling! :DD Very relatable.

this fame is really fun and i really enjoyed playing it.

There is just one problem and its that every run feels the same. Yes, you can do a plane build intead of a bomb build lets say but overall its a bit repetative

also the game is too easy, on my first try i beat it which in my opinion doesnt make sense

Thanks for playing!
It definitely is on the easier side currently - that's mostly due to the fact that it was made within 70 Hours though!

If we decided to make a full game based on the principle a lot would change - more strategies, different balancing. :)

I would really love to see what can be achievied if this turned into a full game but after all its up to you if youll make it.  However i would love to see more projects coming from you an i would love to try them out

The Plane is strong!

Bomb Strats all the way!

this is great and a fun idea. nice cards and nice look and feel to the bubble mechanics!!

Thanks for your Feedback!
So glad you enjoyed the experience!

Beat it.  It was fun, but only getting one special card made it feel a little short

I definitely agree!
We decided for one Relic for now, as things would escalate too quickly otherwise - but if we were to make a full game out of it, it would definitely contain many opportunities for new Relics!

Please do! This game is way too fun to not exist in a full form. The potential for more Relics and expanded mechanics is huge, and I’d love to see where you could take it. It already feels like something special, so a full game would be an absolute blast!

Hey there! Thanks so much for your feedback!
Do you think a different setting would suit the game also? For example "Goblin goes Boom" with a typical Roguelite Setting, where you do the same game loop - but in dungeons?

In my mind I'd keep the satisfying sound-scape similar but with different sounds - but I imagine that a change of setting could help to communicate the roguelike feel better!

I do think a different setting could work. Now, does it have to be dungeons? No, not necessarily. You could easily apply the same roguelite mechanics to, say, a farm setting—think exploding crops, rogue livestock, maybe even some mischievous farm goblins wreaking havoc. The key here is maintaining the core gameplay loop while effectively communicating the roguelike feel. If the sound design stays satisfying but adapts to the setting, you’re still achieving the same immersive experience.

Great Input! Thanks for your thoughts!

This is pretty fun and ran smoothly for me.

Thanks! Glad you like it!
